Mark Vaughn earns GAC Baseball Player of the Week honors

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – Mark Vaughn has been named the Co-Great American Conference Baseball Player of the Week for the tenth week of the season, the league office announced Tuesday.
Vaughn, a senior from Salina, Kan. led Arkansas Tech (23-13, 16-8 GAC) to a 2-1 week, including the Wonder Boys' seventh consecutive conference series win of the season. Vaughn finished the week with a team-high nine hits, six runs and six runs batted in.
In Tech's series-opening game against Southeastern Oklahoma State on Saturday, Vaughn was one of seven Wonder Boys to record a hit as he went 1-for-4.
