DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern softball closed out a Friday split with an 8-5 victory over No. 4 Southern Arkansas after dropping the opener 8-2 at the Southeastern Softball Field.

The split moves the Savage Storm to 32-20 overall on the year and 26-13 in Great American Conference play with the final two games of the series and the regular season slated for a noon start on Saturday afternoon.
