Baugh pleased with Bugs season

ALVA, Okla. – "I was very please and proud of this group of kids."

That was the way Alva High School head baseball coach Scott Baugh described his feelings of the 2018 campaign for the Goldbugs.

"Anytime you win 24 games in a season you've had a really good year," mentioned Baugh. "They were a really fun bunch of kids to be around."

The Goldbugs finished the season last weekend after going 2-2 in the regional tournament at Oklahoma Christian School, closing the season with a 24-14 record. After dropping four of five games in early April, Baugh's squad closed the season 11-4 in the final 15 con...
