Mason Named Google Cloud Academic All-District

SEARCY – Harding track and field's Raianne Mason earned Google Cloud Academic All-District 7 honors Tuesday from the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Mason, a senior from North Lima, Ohio, is a public relations major with a 4.00 GPA.
Mason broke Harding's outdoor records in both the 100-meter hurdles (14.90) and 400-meter hurdles (1:02.78) in 2018. She placed third in the 4x400-meter relay at the Great American Conference Track and Field Championships, and placed fourth in the 400 hurdles (1:02.78) and fifth in the 100 hurdles (15.71).
To qualify for the CoSIDA Academic All-District ballot, student-athletes must have reached sophomore status and have a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher.
CoSIDA's District 7 includes student-athletes from the GAC, Mid-America and Northern Sun Intercollegiate conferences.
Mason will advance to the CoSIDA Academic All-America ballot.
