Nevada man sentenced for carrying explosives in Oklahoma

 


OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — A Las Vegas man has been sentenced to prison after authorities found him traveling through Oklahoma City last year with loaded guns and explosive materials.

An Oklahoma County District judge sentenced Scott Boden Wednesday to three years in prison after entering an Alford plea for manufacturing an explosive device and possession of a firearm while committing a felony, the Oklahoman reported . Under the plea, Boden maintains his innocence despite being found guilty.

"I understand the court will find me guilty," the 42-year-old said.
