Jewell Shephard, 82, of Freistatt, Missouri, passed away Sept. 25, 2018, while staying at Mt. Vernon Place Care in Mt. Vernon, Missouri. She was born in Avard, Oklahoma, June 25, 1936, to the late Benjamin and Onnie Haskell (Gourley) Murray. She was married in 1955, to Cecil Shephard; he survives.

Shephard is survived by her husband, two daughters, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Burial was in the Sycamore Cemetery near Miller, Missouri. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Bennett-Wormington Funeral Home in Monett, Missouri....
