Oklahoma Blood Institute encourages healthy adults to set aside about an hour from their busy schedules to give blood, to ensure that enough blood is available for area hospitals through the holidays.

Donors are urged to give at one of the following blood drives:

• Waynoka High School and community: Nov. 26, 2 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.

• NWOSU, Dec. 4, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Ranger Room

• Mach Resources, Dec. 6t, 8 a.m. to 1 p.m.

• Share Medical Center, Dec. 6, 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

• Alva Fire and Police Challenge, Dec. 8, 9 a.m. to 12 p.m. at 415 4th St. in Alva
