RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. — Henderson State had four players in double figures and withstood a furious rally from Arkansas Tech in the final moments to defeat the Golden Suns 70-62 and pick up its first win in Tucker Coliseum since 2005-06.
The Reddies (5-1, 2-0) controlled the game for most of the afternoon and led 57-43 entering the fourth quarter, but Arkansas Tech (3-3, 1-1), who had never led, outscored Henderson 19-7 through nine minutes in the period to trim the lead down to just 64-62 with under a minute to play.
