Slow Start Proves Costly for Tigers

MAGNOLIA, Ark. – For the second consecutive week a Tiger comeback fell short on the road as Ouachita Baptist fell 68-60 to Southern Arkansas on Saturday afternoon.

Ouachita (4-3, 1-2 GAC) shot just 33 percent in the opening half before turning it around in the second half. Southern Arkansas (7-2, 2-1 GAC) took advantage by knocking down nearly 50 percent of their shots in the opening half. In the second half, however, Ouachita shutdown the Muleriders offense as Southern Arkansas made just 20 percent of their shots.
