RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – After leading the Golden Suns to two consecutive wins in its first two games of the spring season, Katharina Drebka has been named the Great American Conference Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the league announced Wednesday.

Drebka cruised to a 6-0 doubles win with partner Kami Ward against Ouachita last Wednesday, Feb. 13. Drebka then went on to sweep her singles opponent in straight sets.

Then as the Suns hosted Henderson State Saturday, Drebka and Ward defeated their Reddies opponents 6-3 in doubles play. Drebka nearly swept her singles match again, going 6-1, 6-0.
