Auction set for 21 vehicles forfeited in Oklahoma pot bust

TULSA, Okla. (AP) — Federal officials in Tulsa are conducting an online auction for 21 vehicles forfeited by a man who pleaded guilty to drug conspiracy and money-laundering charges.

The U.S. Marshals Service and an auctioneer, Apple Towing Co., launched the auction Monday. Online bids will be accepted through April 1.

The vehicles were seized from 35-year-old Kong Meng Vang, who pleaded guilty in August to bringing 1,500 pounds of marijuana from California to sell in the Tulsa area.
