Deputy Maze responded to Highway 281 and Kansas State Highway 2 for reckless driver.

Edwin D. Lenkner, Coats, driving a 2009 Grand Cherokee, hit a deer on Elm Mills Road. Unknown damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Maze.

March 19, 2019

Deputy Maze investigated a theft on southeast Highway 160.

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital to Wichita.

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from east Walnut in Lake City to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital. Deputy Woods also responded.

Kiowa ambulance transported patient room north 10th to Kiowa Hospital.

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital to the Pratt Airport.

March 20, 2019

Jerome Ricke, Medicine Lodge, hit a deer on Highway 160 east of Sharon. Unknown damage, no injuries, investigated by Deputy Maze.

Deputy Woods investigated an open door at the Kiowa Co-op.

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from north Broadway in Sharon to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.

March 21, 2019

Deputy Woods investigated a suspicious vehicle on Twin Peaks Road.

March 22, 2019

Deputy Miller investigated a reckless driver on Tri City Road.

Kiowa ambulance transported patient from Kiowa Hospital to Kansas Heart Hospital in Wichita.

March 23, 2019

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from northwest U.S. Highway 281 to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.

Medicine Lodge ambulance transported patient from Anthony Street to Medicine Lodge Memorial Hospital.

Deputy Maze responded to a reckless driver on Highway 160 east of Medicine Lodge.

During the week officers received four reports of cattle out, two reports of horses out, performed two public assists and assisted two other agencies.

ARRESTS

March 21, 2019

Manuel Eduardo Perez-Vego, Pratt, W/M, 23. Arrested by BASO. Charges: operating a motor vehicle without a valid license, transporting an open container. Released March 22, 2019, on $2,000 cash bond.
