Harding's Konwent Wins Pole Vault, Bowie Second in Hurdles at Southern Arkansas

MAGNOLIA, Ark. - Harding freshman Steven Konwent won the pole vault Saturday at the Dan Veach Invitational, hosted by Southern Arkansas. He cleared 3.84 meters (12-07.25) and won for the second time in three outdoor meets this season. He also won at the Hendrix Alumni Open. Senior James Bowie was second in the 400-meter hurdles in 57.28. Below are the rest of the highlights for Harding's men:
Freshman Will Meredith was third in the 100 meters in 11.07 seconds. He won last weekend at Harding in 10.93 seconds.
