Harding Women's Track Wins Rhodes 7-Way Meet, Breaks Two School Records

 


MEMPHIS – The Harding women's track and field team won the Rhodes College 7-Way Meet Saturday, scoring 366.5 points, easily eclipsing second-place Christian Brothers's 123.5 points. The other teams competing in the meet included Rhodes (114), Hendrix (63), Trevecca Nazarene (24), Williams Baptist (20) and Belhaven (5).

Harding won 13 events and broke school records in the 400-meter hurdles and shot put. Senior Chelsea Howard won the 100, the 200 and the long jump, and sophomore Alicja MInczuk won the 1,500 and the 3,000-meter steeplechase, and junior Emily Shell won the triple jump and the jav...
