ARKADELPHIA, Ark. – Emily Cudd and Katie McCullar partnered on an outstanding pitching outing in game one to pick up a 9-2 victory over Henderson State, but the Savage Storm were unable to maintain that momentum in game two, falling 8-2 to finish with a series split.

SE moves to 17-23 overall on the season and the split keeps the Storm at .500 in Great American Conference play at 15-15.

Cudd got the start in game one and allowed a run on four hits with two strikeouts in five innings of work to earn the win.
