Tennis: SE Drops Tight Matchups in Final Weekend

DURANT, Okla. – Southeastern closed out the regular season slate with a pair of tightly contested home losses, falling 5-2 to Southwest Baptist before a narrow 4-3 defeat in the season finale at the Southeastern Tennis Complex.

The losses drop the Savage Storm to 8-6 overall on the season heading into the Great American Conference tournament where they will face second-seeded Ouachita Baptist as the number three seed at 10:30 a.m. on April 26 in Bentonville, Ark.

The defeats end a four-match winning streak for the Storm who, despite the losses, have won seven of their last 11 matches.
