ATU's Riley named GAC Freshman of the Year, Suns rack up ten All-GAC nods

BENTONVILLE, Ark. - Tymber Riley was honored as the Great American Conference's Freshman of the Year, leading a list of ten all-Great American Conference selections for the No. 14 Arkansas Tech Golden Suns softball team, announced at Thursday's championship awards banquet.

A freshman from Bentonville, Riley was also named a first team all-Great American Conference pick at designated player. Megan Goodnight earned a pair of first team honors both as a pitcher and as a utility player, while shortstop Sarah Coronado and outfielders Ashton Sangster and Gaby Vasquez were also first team picks.
