Bison Fall in Season Opener

PITTSBURG, Kan. – The Oklahoma Baptist University women's basketball team opened their season with a tough loss to Pittsburg State 96-78. This was the first game of the GAC-MIAA challenge.

The Bison started the game very strong having taken a 50-45 halftime lead. At the half two players already reached double digits. Kalifa Ford went in having gone 5-8 with 12 points scored overall. McKenzie Cooper led the team with a first half total of 26 points.

Unfortunately for the Bison the Gorillas came out in the second half and made some big adjustments. OBU was outscored 51-28 in the second half.
