Lady Rangers compete in first pentathlon of the season

WICHITA, Kan. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State track and field team opened the weekend Thursday with the first day of competition in the Wichita State University Invitational at the Heskett Center.

Gina Wilson led the Lady Rangers in the pentathlon competition with 2,167 points. Her best even was the 800 meters, which she finished in 10th place with a time of two minutes and 51.28 seconds. Wilson improved her personal best in the long jump and climbed to the fourth spot in the record book with 4.42m.
