Reece Martin led the Alva scoring with eight followed by Kade Flores with five and Jackson Feely with four. Kaden Slater made three points, Braden Hofen and Jaxon Jones two each, and Austin Reed one.

For Senior Night on Tuesday, the Goldbugs did much better against the Class 4A Woodward Boomers, losing 72-65. Reed scored 23 of Alva's points followed by Feely with 13.

The Goldbugs have one more game in the regular season as they travel to Woodward Monday for a rematch in an 8 p.m. tipoff. The game was rescheduled after a weather postponement.

Alva will host the Class 3A-1 district playoff game against Blackwell next Saturday, Feb. 22, at 8 p.m. The winner of that game advances to the area playoff at Community Christian in Norman on Thursday, Feb. 27 at 8 p.m. The runner-up will play Feb. 27 at 3 p.m. at Community Christian.
