2 hurt, 1 arrested after shooting in Oklahoma Walmart lot

 


GUTHRIE, Okla. (AP) — A man and a woman were hospitalized and another man is in police custody after an argument erupted in gunfire Thursday in the parking lot of an Oklahoma Walmart.

The shooting happened around 2 p.m. at a Walmart in Guthrie, about 30 miles north of Oklahoma City. The man who fired the gun was in a pickup with the woman when he got into an argument with a man in the parking lot, police Sgt. Anthony Gibbs said. The man in the truck, in reaching for a gun, accidentally shot the woman. He then shot the other man, Gibbs said.
