Hazel Pearl Bishop, 86 passed away peacefully on August 10, 2020, at Northhaven Place, Oklahoma City. She was born December 2, 1933, in Liberal, Kansas, the daughter of Irvin and Velma Grabeel. She married Charles (Ish) Vern Bishop on October 16, 1954.

A few years after she and Ish were married they moved with Panhandle Eastern Pipeline to Alva, where they raised their family. After Ish retired from Panhandle Eastern they moved to Elk City for a couple of years, then on to Oklahoma City. Hazel worked many years in Alva as a bookkeeper and school secretary.
