Alfalfa County moved to orange level Friday

On Friday when the latest county level trends were released by the Oklahoma State Department of Health (OSDH) for COVID-19, Major County moved down one level to yellow while Alfalfa County moved up a level to orange. Green is considered the lowest risk with step levels of increasing risk as yellow, orange and red. Most of Oklahoma is either yellow or orange. Ellis County was the only green level area on Friday’s map.

As of Tuesday morning, the OSDH shows Alfalfa County has had 14 people testing positive for COVID-19 with six recovered, meaning there are eight active cases. Woods County has had...
