No injuries reported in large fire at Oklahoma plant

BRISTOW, Okla. (AP) — A large fire broke out early Monday at a tire recycling plant in Oklahoma but there were no reports of injuries.

The fire was reported at about 3 a.m. Monday at a recycling plant in Bristow, about 30 miles (50 kilometers) southwest of Tulsa. The fire sent large plumes of smoke in the air and emergency crews were responding.

Tulsa TV station KOKI reports that according to authorities, the fire was contained by about midday Monday but will contain to burn through the night.
