Monday, March 14, 2022

During this day there was one traffic stop.

11:09 a.m. – Caller advised of a male breaking windows out of a camper and was yelling for another male. Deputy made negative contact with the subject.

4:17 p.m. – Caller advised they called earlier about a window being broken out in a camper. Dispatch advised they were still looking for the subject. Caller advised the subject was spinning a metal object around and was going to hit someone. Caller advised that the subject took off on foot headed south. Advised he looks like he is under the influence of something. Advised he then got in a black Ford SUV. Subject was found, detained and taken in for medical help.

6:26 p.m. – Caller advised an oversized load was driving from Nash on US-64 and was driving left of center and running multiple vehicles off the road including a cattle truck. Sheriff advised it was due to the wind.

6:57 p.m. – Medic needed for a male that fell and hit his head and was now dizzy, nauseated and his left side was hurting. Medic took the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

7:56 p.m. – Medical alarm went off in the 100 block of Corn. The female’s son contacted and advised he would go check. The son advised everything was okay and didn’t know how it went off.

11:23 p.m. – Caller advised she needed help with her son who was lying on the side of the road and not wanting to move. She advised he wasn’t in any distress, that he was just acting out. Sheriff en route to the location.

Tuesday, March 15, 2022

8:29 a.m. – Report of vandalism at the Carmen Park and the cameras were stolen.

4:46 p.m. – Report of male who possibly stole copper wire from an oil pad. Deputy made contact and the male released all the copper wire to the sheriff. Advised he found it on the road. Company was contacted.

5:49 p.m. – Report of a possible fire west of Burlington. Contact was made with the landowner and was advised that Alfalfa County was in a burn ban and the fire needed to be put out.

Wednesday, March 16, 2022

During this day there were two traffic stops.

7:14 a.m. – Medic needed for a person having an allergic reaction to medicine. Medic took the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

10:01 a.m. – Report of a fire that started back up at Beaver Road and County Road 490. Assistance was requested.

10:06 a.m. – Welfare check needed in the 300 block of Kansas. Medic needed for a female who wasn’t feeling well. Medic took the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

11:57 a.m. – Medic needed for female having trouble breathing. Patient refused transport.

4:27 p.m. – Report of hay bales on fire near electric poles on County Road 640 and Greer Road.

5:10 p.m. – Medic needed for a female with shortness of breath and weak. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

Thursday, March 17, 2022

During this day there there was one traffic stop.

8:36 a.m. – Report of an alarm going off in the 100 block of Slayton. All was okay. They were trying to reset the alarm.

10:11 a.m. – Advised of something burning in No Hope. Officer made contact and advised the owner to put the fire out.

12:01 p.m. – Report of copper stolen on Hughes Road.

12:14 p.m. – Medic needed for a male with an irregular heartbeat. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

12:26 p.m. – Welfare check needed in the 800 block of Kansas.

1:14 p.m. – Report of a vehicle accident at 5th Street and Oklahoma.

3:41 p.m. – Caller advised she had been scammed for $2,000.

9:16 p.m. – Medic needed for a male having chest pains. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

Friday, March 18, 2022

6:57 a.m. – Alarm company advised of an alarm going off in the 400 block of Oklahoma. Officer advised it was the employees and all was okay.

10:37 a.m. – Medic needed for a female who was found on the floor, possible stroke. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

1:42 p.m. – Caller advised a Carmen city worker had hit a gas line at Grand and Vine. Fire departments waiting until ONG arrived to turn the gas off.

8:22 p.m. – Report of a male on their property. Advised he took a tool box and was walking north. Deputy made contact with the subject and was removed from the location.

Saturday, March 19, 2022

1:24 p.m. – Caller advised he needed his girlfriend removed from his apartment.

4:58 p.m. – Caller advised of a possible theft of a wallet.

5:15 p.m. – Caller advised a pumper in Carmen hit a gas line. Fire department waited for ONG to arrive.

8:42 p.m. – Caller advised he got to his brother's house, 100 block of 2nd Street, and the door was broken and the windows were shattered. Advised who they believed it was that did it, and that it must have happened within the last two hours. No weapons in the home. There might be footage from the co-op. Deputy later found the subject with a 15-year-old on foot in Carmen. The juvenile was released to its parents and the male was taken into custody. Deputy found stolen property south of abandoned house where they believe the male they had in custody had been stashing his stolen items. Deputy collected the property per the DA. At 11:05 p.m. another call came in from Carmen of another home that had been broken into in the 400 block of 6th Street. Deputies looking for juvenile and made negative contact.

Sunday, March 20, 2022

During this day there were two reports of cattle out.

1:47 p.m. – Report of a disturbance at Carmen Jiffy Trip. Advised of kids getting ready to fight and a dad in a gold van pulled in and almost hit someone. Advised he left heading west bound and they all had left the Jiffy Trip. One deputy at the Jiffy Trip talking to one of the parties. The other deputy made contact with the driver. Advised of two males in custody and en route to the Sheriff’s office.

4:23 p.m. – Woods County requested assistance for a fire on US-281 and Hughes Road.

8:50 p.m. – Report of a mother at the residence to pick up her child but the grandparents won’t let the mother have the child.

9:55 p.m. – Report of a male that came up to a house on US-64 knocking and ringing the doorbell asking for a crescent wrench for his bike. Deputy showed the reporting party a picture of the possible subject and he advised it was the same person. Deputy attempted to find the subject. Advised he drove to Jet and back and no one was on the highway.
