Monday, June 13, 2022

9:38 a.m. – Welfare check needed at Cherokee High School.

11:45 a.m. – Medic needed on OK-38 for a male with a fast heartbeat. Medic took the patient to St. Mary’s Hospital in Enid.

8:28 p.m. – Report of animal abuse in the 300 block of Main.

9:20 p.m. – Caller advised their neighbor ran into her husband's truck in the 400 block of 7th Street. Caller advised the subject had a gun in her car. Officer arrived on scene and asked for backup. Officer advised they had the female subject at rifle point and taser point. Officer then advised the taser was subdued and the female subject was in custody and taken to the sheriff’s office.

Tuesday, June 14, 2022

8:54 a.m. – Medic needed in the 200 block of 6th Street for a male with chest pains. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

11:24 a.m. – Report of a fire on County Road 590 and McClain Road. Burlington Fire Department took the call.

8:10 p.m. – Caller advised someone tried to steal fuel out of his tractor at Hughes and County Road 550.

Wednesday, June 15, 2022

6:03 p.m. – Report of a grass fire on OK-45 and County Road 620. Helena Fire Department took the call.

6:34 p.m. – Caller advised when they came home from work a window in the back of their house was broken out.

7:46 p.m. – Medic needed in the 700 block of Ohio for a child that had choked but airway is now clear. Medic en route. No transport was needed.

Thursday, June 16, 2022

5:29 p.m. – Medic en route to Bass Hospital in Enid with a patient that walked in the station.

10:17 p.m. – Report of a suspicious person in the 200 block of 7th Street.

Friday, June 17, 2022

During this day there were two traffic stops.

9:35 a.m. – Report of a possible theft on County Road 570.

7:32 p.m. – Caller advised a male was at their house and was not supposed to be. She advised he left a voicemail stating he was going to strangle her dogs. Officer was unable to locate the male.

Saturday, June 18, 2022

8:37 a.m. – Caller reported the neighbor's dog is out and they can’t keep them off her property. Dispatch advised officer.

8:57 a.m. – Report of a copper theft east of County Road 600 and McClain Road.

9:58 a.m. – Caller advised they had hit a headstone and it fell over.

1:07 p.m. – Caller advised of a truck on its side south of OK-45. Driver was not hurt but needed help with his truck.

6:51 p.m. – Welfare check needed in the 300 block of 3rd Street.

7:16 p.m. – Caller advised his ex-girlfriend, who has a protective order against him, is at his house on County Road 710 and he is not there. He wanted an officer to check it out and see if she is stealing anything or damaging his property. At 8:35 p.m. deputy advised he was en route and was late due to a juvenile report.

9:05 p.m. – Caller advised their neighbor has a dog with puppies and there was no food or water. Advised she took one of the puppies to nurse it. Officer advised there was food and large bucket of water and everything was okay.

9:21 p.m. – Caller advised her boyfriend tackled her and took her phone. Officer took the individual to his sister’s after he collected some of his stuff.

Sunday, June 19, 2022

During this day there was one report of a controlled burn.

6:35 a.m. – Caller advised her neighbor showed up and asked for help as he had a loaded gun. Officer en route to 300 block of 4th Street in Helena.

10:38 a.m. – Caller advised their neighbor's dog was chasing their cat in the 500 block of Oklahoma. Officer was unable to locate the dog.

2:36 p.m. – Caller advised their neighbor has a dog with puppies. Advised the mother had food and water but one had fallen into a hole and two others were moving very well.
