Jimmie D Hoffman was born in Anthony, Kansas, on February 16, 1932 to Lester and MargaretRose Hoffman, who later blessed him with four siblings: Pat, Jon, Tony and Trudy. For the most part, he was a lifelong resident of Hazleton, Kansas. After high school, he joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Italy.
