Women's golf concludes Central Region Preview to start season

BLUE SPRINGS, Mo. – Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Golf opened their 2022 Fall season in Missouri competing in the Central Region Fall Preview at the Adams Pointe Golf Club in Blue Springs.

The Red-and-Black battled in a two round invite in Missouri and recorded a team score of 652 overall after scoring a 331 in the opening round before scoring a 321 in day two.

Northwestern had three golfers finish tied for 57th overall in the Central Region Fall Preview. Madison Masch, Sofia McElroy, and Angela Egger each shot a total of 162 in the invite.

Egger led the Rangers after the opening round shooting a 78 on day one before shooting a an 84 on round two. Masch and McElroy both improved their scores after the opening round in day two. Masch and McElroy shot the same on both days finishing with an 85 in day one and 77 in day two for a total of 162.

Samantha Friday carded a 168 for 71st place in the invite shooting an 83 on the first day followed up by an 85.

Rounding the card for the Rangers was Alexis Webb scoring a 169 through the invitational. Webb shot an 86 before improving on day two shooting an 83 in the round.

Henderson State finished the Preview with a -3 shooting a 292 on day one with a 281 on round two for a total of 573 for the tournament.
