Mildred Gale Frieden (Daughhetee), daughter of Dan Daughhetee and Mary McWilliams Daughhetee, was born July 16, 1926, on a farm near Capron, Oklahoma, and departed this life September 14, 2022, at Kiowa Hospital District Manor.

Mildred had a sister, Ethel Durfee, and a beloved twin brother, Milton Dale Daughhetee, who both preceded her in death. The family lived in Ingersol, Oklahoma, for a time before moving to Hazelton, Kansas, in 1932. She attended Hazelton Public School and graduated in 1944.
