Graveside services for John Meyer will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 16, 2023, at the Alva Municipal Cemetery with Rev. Paul Kirk officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Marshall Funeral Home of Alva.

John Clark Meyer, son of the late Leo August and Jessie Beulah (Clark) Meyer, was born July 13, 1944, at Alva, Oklahoma, and passed away March 13, 2023, at Enid, Oklahoma, at the age of 78 years and 8 months.

John graduated Alva High School and attended Oklahoma State University. He was an accomplished mechanic and taught auto mechanics at the Northwest Vo-Tech Center for many years....
