Alva Ladybugs take first at Ponca City

The Alva Ladybug track team took first place with 182 points at the Jerry Runyan Wildcat Relays in Ponca City on Thursday. Alva participated in Division 2 for smaller schools. Fairview and Inola tied for second with 104 points each. Tonkawa was fourth with 73 points and Pawhuska came in fifth with 70.
The Alva Goldbug team placed fourth in the event. Fairview took first place with 165 points followed by Inola with 121 points for second and Tonkawa with 111 for third. Alva was fourth with 67 points followed by Covington-Douglas with 43 points.
