Teaching troubled young men to have a life with Christ, how to develop a strong work ethic and more upstanding qualities is one of the many goals of the Freedom Gates Boys Ranch located in the tiny town of Hazelton, Kansas.
Michael Simpson is longtime Director of FGBR. He invites the public to the Open House of their FGBR Learning Center. It's Saturday, July 8 from 3 to 6 p.m. A time of prayer and dedication is at 4:30 p.m.
“We broke ground on it two years ago,” Simpson said of the 8,000 square foot building – 6,000 square feet on the ground level and 2,000 upstairs.
