Monday, June 26, 2023

During this day were three traffic stops.

8:37 a.m. – Report of possible animal cruelty on County Road 610. Advised the animal has no food or water. Advised she had made this call before. Deputy made contact with the owner's father.

7:26 p.m. – Report of a two-vehicle accident on Grand and Oklahoma with possible injuries. Wrecker was called and en route. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

8:07 p.m. – Medic needed at the jail for a male who hurt his knee and is now having trouble walking. Medic took the patient to Share Medical Center.

During this day was one traffic stop.

9:07 p.m. – Report of a reckless driver who ran the stop sign at the four-way north of town and headed south into Cherokee. Deputy made contact with driver at Jiffy Trip.

Wednesday, June 28, 2023

During this day was one traffic stop.

9:43 a.m. – Report of a fraud call. Advised they called about her grandson being in jail and he needed money to get out. Caller advised her grandson wasn’t even in jail.

12:35 p.m. – Caller advised her husband hit a gas meter with the tractor between Ash and Elm in the 500 block.

1:18 p.m. – Report of a two-vehicle accident at County Road 520 and Blaine Road. Advised airbags didn’t deploy. Wreck was called and en route. No transport needed.

1:36 p.m. – Medic needed at 5th Street and Walnut Street for a female who was unconscious in the yard. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.

3:58 p.m. – Reporting party wanted to speak to an officer about arson, missing items and vandalism in the 400 block of Colorado.

Thursday, June 29, 2023

2:52 p.m. – Welfare check needed in the 500 block of Elm for dogs in a travel trailer that was parked on her property. Advised it doesn’t have any electricity. Stated she let a female move into it and she was supposed to get electricity turned on but never did. Reporting party advised she didn’t know she had dogs left in the trailer. Deputy arrived on scene and advised a friend of the owners was there taking care of the dogs.

6:13 p.m. – Report of a minor vehicle accident at Canadian and County Road 560. Caller advised the driver was talking towards OK-8. Deputy advised it looked like the vehicle hit a bridge, and believes he knew who the driver was. Deputy advised OHP and was en route to Carmen to find the driver. Deputy made contact with the driver and en route back to the scene of the accident. Driver did have a head injury but no transport was needed. Deputy advised he had one adult male in custody and en route to the sheriff’s office.

9:53 p.m. – Caller advised her soon to be ex-husband was trying to break into her house on Persimmon Lane and she fears for her life. She advised he does live in the house but she is kicking him out. Deputies en route. Reporting party advised he had gotten into the house and dispatch could hear them arguing. The call was ended and dispatch tried to call back five times and it went to voicemail. Deputy had one adult male in custody and en route to the sheriff’s office.

Friday, June 30, 2023

12:48 a.m. – Medic needed in the 500 block of Grand for a female with chest pains. Medic took the patient to Bass Hospital in Enid.
