On June 4, five Alva FFA students traveled to Cedar Hill Campground in Binger for the annual Oklahoma FFA Alumni Camp. Two hundred seventy-five FFA members from across the state joined together for three days of learning about communication and leadership.
Those who attended from Alva were Brady Lott, Katelee Martin, Avery McMurphey, Ember Sandoval, and Jansen Shirley.
The theme for the year was "Linked: Communicate to Connect." Through several general sessions and small group times, the members learned to effectively communicate with themselves, other FFA members, friends and family.
