Faith Kay (Chadwick) Fortune was born on January 20, 1937, in Helena, Oklahoma, to William (Bill) and Fern Chadwick. She passed away on July 27, 2023, at her home in Jet, Oklahoma. Her dad worked for the railroad while she was growing up and they moved around a lot. Some of the places they lived in Oklahoma were Teralton, Hallet, Carmen, and Ames as well as Winfield, Kansas. Faith graduated from Ames High School in 1956.
