Friday night the temperature at the Barber County Rodeo was about as hot as the princess candidates were pretty. Actually, as the sun went down, the weather was tolerable for the crowd who enjoyed watching the cowboys and cowgirls compete from bucking to barrels, the clowns' silliness, the little kids running down the arena to retrieve prizes and more.
