Alva Mayor Kelly Parker says the city has received approval on the $500,000 Land and Water Conservation grant applied for earlier. The city hasn’t received official notification, but Senator Roland Pederson told Parker that Gov. Kevin Stitt has signed the grant. With donations received and matching funds from Share Trust, that brings the swimming pool fund balance up to roughly $3.4 million.
