New gym project ahead of schedule, daycare teacher hired

All members attended Burlington's Aug. 14 monthly board meeting that was called to order by President Robert Hill. Those members are: Lindsey Callison, Terry Graham, April Kisling and T.J. Rockenbach. Also attending were: Superintendent Brent Rousey, JH/HS Principal Gerrett Spears, Elementary Principal Stan Pedersen, and Minutes Clerk Brook Keast.
Daycare Director Spears said the daycare is going well. Kiera Roberts was hired as daycare teacher for the 2023-24 school year. She comes to Burlington from Cherokee.
