Wednesday noon the Alva Parks and Recreation Board held a special meeting on bids received for installing synthetic turf. Only two of the four bids received met the bid specifications, and those were over the budget available for the project.
Chairman Shane Hansen opened the meeting with board members Brandon Sherman, Gregg Glass, Heath Shelite, Gail Swallow and Chad Fisher present. Matt Tucker was absent. City Business Manager Steve Ford and Parks and Rec Director Courtney Nesseralla also attended.
