A man from Nash contacted Alfalfa County Dispatch about 11:45 p.m. on Aug. 23 to report his daughter had been assaulted by her husband at their home in Goltry. He said his daughter and her child had just arrived. He said her she had been hit in the head and her eye was swollen shut.

Alfalfa County Deputy Diego Gutierrez spoke with Anthony Wiens who lives in Nash in Grant County. Wiens said his daughter Kylee Taylor said her husband Cody hit her multiple times and choked her.
