Kelln hits two homers Alva loss to Woodward Tuesday

ALVA, Okla. – Jaycee Kelln hit two home runs and drove in four, but the Alva Ladybug softball team lost to the Woodward Lady Boomers 15-8 on Tuesday. Kelln homered in the fifth and sixth innings.
A single by Ruby Nichols put the Ladybugs on the board in the bottom of the first inning.
An error gave Woodward the lead, 2-1, in the top of the second.
The Ladybugs took the lead in the bottom of the fourth after Avery McMurphy singled, Rien Buehrer grounded out, and Trinity Stevens singled, each scoring one run.
