Grow and Share OHCE met for its regular meeting at 6 p.m. on Sept. 16 at the Fireside Room. Tamre McGinnis served as hostess. She served three dishes made in cast iron skillets. The dishes were vegetable beef stew, cornbread and chocolate cake. McGinnis gave a lesson on cast iron skillets that included these topics: cast iron adds iron to your food; seasoning and re-seasoning your cast iron; and cleaning your cast iron.
