Ladybugs take seventh inning win over Perry

ALVA – The Alva Ladybugs softball team scored in the final inning to defeat Perry 2-1 Friday. The game was tied in the bottom of the seventh when Jaycee Kelln singled, scoring one run.
Both teams had strong pitching, with Alva striking out eight while Perry sat down seven.
The Perry Maroons opened scoring in the first inning on a single by Kennedy Hight that scored one run. They led until the seventh when Kaylen Woods singled to bring in a run to tie the game. Then Kelln singled to score a run for the win.
As the starting pitcher for Alva, Kellen gave up four hits and one run over seven inning...
