Men's cross country wins second straight meet

JOPLIN, Mo. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Cross Country looked to carry their Aggie Duels success into the Southern Stampede. Northwestern, for the second consecutive meet to start the season, went on to win the meet as a team.

The Rangers had six runners in the top 20 to help set the tone and pace the rest of the meet.

Christian Franklin followed his meet victory with another top five finish, placing fifth and finishing with a time of 27:46.44. Franklin was one of four top 15 finishers as he was joined by Edgar Reyes placing 11th with a time of 28:24.23. Salat Ibrahim was 12th overal...
