This year at Burlington Schools an elementary academic team was created for fourth- through sixth-graders. Mica Andrews, the school librarian, is head of the new team. There are currently ten students planning to compete. The practice meets are on Tuesday and Thursday mornings in the library. As of yet, Andrews has not received a schedule for the academic meets throughout the school year. She is incredibly excited for the academic team and hopes that they have fun doing something out of their comfort zone.
