Burlington baseball in its third year

Burlington's junior high baseball team poses after their last game of the fall season. The Burlington junior high baseball team started their season at Fargo on Aug. 22. Now in its third year, the team has 13 members in grades 6 through 9.

This year's head coach, Joe Granados, expressed his hopes and thoughts about the team: "My hopes for the season are that everyone enjoys the game of baseball and has a good experience playing the game." He also said that the team has been improving, and how much he enjoys teaching the fundamentals of baseball.

The highlight of the fall season was when the team won 16 to 1 against Frontier at the Mullhall-Orlando tournament. The team played their final game of fall baseball on Tuesday against Cimarron. Their season will start back in the spring.
