Veterans Day at Aline-Cleo High School honored 11 community veterans. The flags were carried in by Hayden Dungan and Isaac Ramariz as Reveille (Military Trumpet Wake Up Call) played. The Pledge of Allegiance was recited and elementary students sang the "Star Spangled Banner" and several other patriotic songs, and recited the Preamble to the Constitution.

Shane Hood, superintendent, introduced Richard Eckstein, Aline veteran, who shared a few words. Lori Irwin and the Aline Quilting Group presented beautiful handmade patriotic quilts to eight of the veterans attending the program. Taps played as the program came to a conclusion.
