In a regular meeting Monday that lasted a (potentially record-breaking) whole six minutes, the Freedom Board of Education approved a one-time stipend of $800 for full-time support and full-time certified staff and administration.

Members present were Shane Morris, Kyle Rhodes, Philip Kirkpatrick, Robert Babcock and BJ Baker. Also present were Superintendent Freida Burgess, and Principal/Minutes Clerk Bryant Weber.

The board also approved the consent agenda, consisting of past meeting minutes, the treasurer’s and activity fund reports, encumbrances and warrants for the general, building, and child nutrition funds. A few less ordinary items included in the consent agent were several district policies and opening an account for the Booster Club.

With no new business, the board adjourned.
