NWOGS to host obituary writing workshop at Alva Public Library

The local Northwest Oklahoma Genealogy Society will be hosting an interactive workshop presented by Dr. Molly Barari at their January 13, 2024 meeting. Dr. Molly Barari holds an MFA in Creative Writing from Wilkes University in Wilkes-Barre, PA, and an EdD in Adult Education from the University of South Dakota. The workshop, “Heirlooms: Obituary Writing,” will be held at the Alva Public Library starting at 10 a.m. The public is invited to attend.
