The Woods County Excise Board approved a supplemental estimate for Freedom Schools during their meeting Wednesday morning. Chris Olson conducted the meeting in the absence of Chairman Joe Shirley. Board member Bob Seivert was also present.

County Clerk Shelley Reed explained that the Freedom Schools item was for $668,223.02 on an insurance loss. The board approved the supplemental estimate so that amount can go into the Freedom Schools building fund.

The following monthly appropriations were approved:
